Premium Svensk Lax AB and LLENTAB Group continue the good cooperation and have now signed an agreement on an engineering contract for a steel building and construction for the production and processing facility in Säffle, Sweden.
The construction will be more than 58,000 square meters and will be the largest and the only land-based salmon farming in Sweden with a permit. LLENTAB Group has built several land-based fish farms in Norway and has worked closely with Premium Svensk Lax AB on the project in Säffle from an early stage. All partners are very satisfied with the cooperation and looking forward to starting this project in Sweden.
In August 2020, Premium Svensk Lax AB received regulatory approval for the facility in Säffle, and NRC Group Sweden is currently in the process of the groundwork. Also involved in the project is AKVA Group with vast experience in land-based fish farming. LLENTAB Group will design and build the project in cooperation including of both LLENTAB Norway and LLENTAB Sweden to secure the best competence into this project. The material and construction will be produced by LLENTAB Sweden in the factory in Kungshamn and the expected start-up is in November 2021.
